– Carson Hocevar will travel with his KBR Development team to Salem Speedway on Saturday, September 14. The eighteenth race, and ARCA’s second appearance at the Salem, Indiana bullring will be Hocevar’s eleventh ARCA Menards Series start of 2019.
– Hocevar captured the General Tire Pole in ARCA’s spring event at Salem Speedway, and finished third in the night race which was rain shortened just beyond halfway.
– Hocevar has been competing in the ARCA Menards Series Sioux Chief Short Track Challenge, spanning 12 events in 2019. Hocevar’s only remaining ARCA race following this weekend’s Salem event, will come at Lucas Oil Raceway, in the Herr’s Potato Chips 200 on October 5.
– The 16-year-old Portage, Michigan driver will pilot KBR’s #28 Scott’s, GMPartsNow.com Chevrolet SS in the 200-lap race, which will be shown live on MAVTV beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET.
“I’m excited to get back to Salem! We had a lot of success earlier this year with our GMPartsNow Chevrolet, getting the pole, leading a handful of laps and finishing up third. I think we should have a good baseline and improved package from earlier this year, to hopefully get those two extra spots with our KBR Development car on Saturday night.”
