– Carson Hocevar will pull double duty this weekend, racing in the Battle at Berlin 251 template late model race on Saturday, and the ARCA Menards Series event at the Illinois State Fairgrounds Sunday. KBR Development will field both entries for Hocevar.

– Saturday’s event at Berlin Raceway will be Hocevar’s second race at the historic Marne, Michigan oval in 2019. Hocevar won the 2017 Super Late Model track championship at Berlin. The 251-lap event will be tri-sanctioned, including the Budweiser Super Late Models, ARCA/CRA Super Series and JEGS/CRA All Stars Tour, paying $20,000 to win.

– The ARCA Menards Series takes to dirt on Sunday, in the Allen Crowe 100 at the Illinois State Fairgrounds. The race will be Hocevar’s first start on the tricky Springfield, Illinois track. Hocevar’s only previous experience on dirt in a full-bodied race car came at Eldora Speedway’s Dirt Derby, August 1, 2019, in a NASCAR Truck.

– Saturday’s Battle at Berlin 251 presented by Primera Plastics will be available via pay-per-view on Sunday’s ARCA race will air live on MAVTV, beginning at 2:30 p.m.

“I am pumped to do double duty this weekend, with the Berlin 251 Saturday, and Springfield in the ARCA car Sunday. We had a really productive test at Berlin think we will unload very good with our #14 Precision Fleet Image super late model. I am not sure how we will unload Sunday, being such a unique race, but I’m confident the KBR guys will get our Chevrolet dialed in before race time. I was very fortunate to go to Eldora and get experience on dirt, so my confidence going in is pretty high.”
