– Hocevar ran inside the top five for most of the first 100 caution free laps of the event at Elko Speedway. The KBR Development team put on 2 right side tires, Sunoco fuel and adjustments at lap 121 caution.
– Hocevar stopped again at lap 180, this time for four tires and more adjustments. Hocevar battled a tight condition through much of the event, with the team improving on the car each stop.
– Hocevar drove the #28 Scott’s, GMPartsNow Chevrolet SS home to a sixth place finish in the Menards 250.
– KBR & Carson Hocevar will return to action on Friday, July 19th in the Fans With Benefits 150 at Iowa Speedway.
“Elko was overall a solid weekend. We didn’t quite have the car that we needed to compete inside the top three on speed like had hoped. Everyone at KBR Development worked really hard all weekend, made a lot of adjustments and overall made the car a bit better to come back and run right on the tail end of the top 5 and end up 6th in our GMPartsNow Chevrolet.”
