– Creed had a strong Silverado at Charlotte, finishing eighth in stage one and seventh in stage two. An off-cycle pit stop for fuel put Creed back in the field where he sustained damage from a three-wide restart and was battling for the remainder of the race. He would eventually finish 12th.

– With his 10th place qualifying effort Creed has qualified inside the top 10 in eight consecutive races this season.

“Our Chevy Accessories Silverado started pretty good and we just kept making adjustments on it all night to keep up with the track. We got off sequence with our fuel strategy midway through the race and it ended up with us back in the pack and we got knocked around on a restart and we just never fully recovered. These guys work so hard on these trucks each week and we bring fast trucks, I just hate that we haven’t had the finishes to show for it. Only thing we can do is move on to the next one and hopefully we can go into Texas and win some big money.”
