-Mayer started ninth, but was up to fifth by lap 35 and moved into fourth during a restart on lap 37.
-He pitted under caution on lap 80 for right-side tires and a wedge adjustment. With modified live pit stops at Toledo, drivers who pitted came out in the same position they entered pit road, so Mayer remained in fourth.
-A few cautions for rain slowed the race and most teams were racing Mother Nature, as well as their competitors. Mayer was fifth when an intense rain storm came through and the race was called complete after 152 of 200 laps.
-Mayer’s next event will be at Memphis International Raceway on June 1 for the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East race.
“It’s unfortunate that we had another race shortened by rain. Our Chevy Accessories SS was really good on the long runs, so it would have been great if we could have run all 200 laps. I cant wait to get back in the car and go for another win in a few weeks at Memphis.”
