– Creed qualified seventh but had advanced to second by Lap 22. The team pitted for four tires, fuel, a track bar adjustment and air pressure adjustment under the Lap 50 caution. After restarting third Creed quickly worked is way back to second and set his sights on the lead.

– During a late-race caution Creed was caught for a speeding penalty on pit road and forced to restart at the end of the field. Creed picked his way through the field and into the third position where he remained for a series of green white checkered attempts and ultimately would battle hard for his second-place finish.

“Our night was pretty good overall. I wasn’t able to move around a lot on the track but I found a line that worked and tried to stick to it as much as I could. I made a mistake on pit road that put us back in the field but I drove my butt off on that restart to get us back up towards the front. I was just trying to go where people weren’t, which is a lot easier when you’re racing in a pack and everybody is bunched up together. We had really good restarts there the last few times.I really enjoyed coming back to the ARCA Series. It was fun to come back and really be able to race people hard but clean. Thanks to Chevy and the whole GMS team for giving me the opportunity to come out here tonight. I had a lot of fun.”
